WTA Hiroshima Open Misaki Doi

An all-Japanese final, which would be the dream final for the fans, is still on the cards at the WTA Hiroshima Open as Nao Hibino and Misaki Doi could potentially face off in the final for the Hiroshima title.

WTA Hiroshima Open Semifinal Predictions

Nao Hibino vs Mihaela Buzarnescu

Head-to-head: First meeting

Both players have played an incredibly high level of tennis to reach the semifinals here. Buzarnescu impressively defeated the third seed, Alison van Uytvanck, in straight sets in the quarterfinals. Whereas Hibino upset the defending champion and the top seed, Su-Wei Hsieh, also in straight sets.

It will be a close match. But Buzarnescu is yet to drop a set all week and this tournament looks like the one that could turn her season around. After the struggles in her career, she definitely needs it.

Prediction: Buzarnescu in 2
