This week on “Let’s Go Racing, David Starr,” Tyler Jones and Dominic Aragon are joined by Riverside, California’s Mike Dunn, who recently purchased a former NASCAR Craftsman Truck vehicle David Starr raced during his days with Spears Motorsports. They’re also ready to talk Christopher Bell’s win on Easter, too.

The focus of the show was how Dunn got the truck in his possession, how he restored it, and the great lengths he went through to restore it to its former glory. According to Dunn, two of David’s three wins with Spears Motorsports were accomplished in the very vehicle he has in his possession.

It’s tough to determine where many retired race vehicles go. Starr said they can end up at driving schools, museums and sometimes destroyed after a crash.

“There’s all kinds of stories of where these cars end up,” Starr said, adding he didn’t know where most cars end up. “to sit here and see that truck in the background… I couldn’t wait to see it.”

Dunn, perhaps, had the best background of any guest to date, per Aragon. The restored No. 75 truck sat in the background of Dunn’s garage where he did the show from.

The guys also recap and give their thoughts on  Christopher Bell’s win in the NASCAR Cup Series race Easter Sunday at Bristol Dirt. And, they react to the Cody Ware suspension, NASCAR’s 75 greatest drivers of all-time list and have a Martinsville preview for the cup race there this weekend.
