Xfinity Series: New Hampshire Preview and How to Watch

Xfinity - New Hampshire

After winning the past five races at the track, neither Christopher Bell nor Kyle Busch will return to Loudon to add to their win totals this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Last week, the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ second trip to the newly reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway, resulted in Austin Hill capturing his second victory of 2022 over Josh Berry and Ryan TruexTy Gibbs, driving the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, leads the standings with four wins on the season, with Kaulig Racing’s A.J. Allmendinger sitting behind the 19-year-old in the standings with two wins this season. With nine races left in the regular season, drivers like Sam MayerRiley Herbst, and reigning series champion Daniel Hemric need a win to officially lock themselves into the playoffs. Read on to find out who could clinch that coveted spot at New Hampshire this weekend.

The Track

New Hampshire Motor Speedway, known as “The Magic Mile” by some, measures 1.058 miles long and is located in the city of Loudon in central New Hampshire. The track has hosted NASCAR racing since it opened in June of 1990, in addition to the Loudon Classic, which ran on the track’s 1.6-mile road course.

New Hampshire is notable due to its low banking, both in the turns and the straightaways. The turns only measure 12 degrees and form a tight paper-clip-like shape, similar to Martinsville. On the straights, the banking measures a mere one degree. Kyle Busch holds the record for the most Xfinity Series wins at the Magic Mile, capturing six wins starting in 2009.

Championship Standings

  4. Noah Gragson, JR Motorsports – 2 wins
