Hitech Tgr To Keep the Momentum up in Jeddah

Hitech TGR leads the 2025 F2 Teams’ standings but will they be able to hold onto the top spot after the round in Jeddah?

How Hitech TGR Will face the street circuit of Jeddah

Hitech TGR is currently at the top of the Teams’ rankings, thanks to the three podiums won by its drivers in the first two rounds.

The pairing of Dino Beganovic and Luke Browning seems to work for the English team. The Jeddah round will confirm or untie this hypothesis again.

Browning in Seek of Consistency

In the three races held so far, not counting the canceled Feature Race in Melbourne, Luke Browning has been on the podium twice out of three times.

A tenth place in the Sprint Race of Bahrain has been so far his worst result. After a season of Formula 3 spent fighting for the title, the Englishman had not shown enough consistency towards the last rounds.

This cost him dearly and he had to be satisfied with the third position. 2025 is his first full year in Formula 2. Although he had already made his debut in the category last year with ART Grand Prix, replacing Zak O’Sullivan.

The young driver is part of the Williams Academy, which allowed him to drive one of their Formula 1 cars in Bahrain during the FP1.

An unforgettable moment for him, which encouraged him to achieve good results in the Formula 2 races that weekend. Browning is aware that he is being closely monitored by James Vowles regarding the future of the team. Especially now that Victor Martins has joined them.

In 2024 he had the opportunity to race in Baku, another city circuit, but not in Jeddah which was at the beginning of the calendar last year. It will therefore be his first time driving a Formula 2 car on the street circuit in Saudi Arabia.

Some mistakes and difficulties are permitted but if Browning wants to show that he has found more consistency in his performance, he should keep the trend started this year.

Dino Beganovic to Improve his Performance at Jeddah with Hitech

Last year Dino Beganovic took over from Juan Manuel Correa in DAMS Lucas Oil and ran the last two races of the season. The Swede proved immediately that he is a driver to be monitored.

He scored points on three out of four occasions, including a podium at Yes Marina thanks to the disqualification of Paul Aron.

This start of the season with Hitech TGR did not go well for Beganovic. He had a solid qualifying session in Australia, where he started in seventh position for the Feature Race.

It later became fifth due to some penalties, and fourth in the Sprint Race. Nevertheless, the Swede was unable to capitalise on this opportunity.

On Saturday he fell to the bottom of the group and finished the race in fourteenth position. In the meantime, his teammate climbed onto the podium.

In Bahrain, both cars seemed to have a good pace for the whole weekend. Therefore the drivers gave the team two podiums distributed on Saturday and Sunday.

Beganovic continues to have some problems in handling the tire management and how to exploit 100% of the potential of the car. However in the Sprint Race of Bahrain, he still finished in third place. Fourth at the finish line without the penalty of Joshua Durksen.

In the Feature Race, he improved by two positions from the start and finished sixth. Also for him, it will be the first time he will race in the circuit of Jeddah but the goal will always be the same. To understand more and more the car and to collect as many points as possible.
