Formula E revealed the 2024 provisional calendar, showing 17 races held in 13 countries. Between them, there is a new entry: the Tokyo E-Prix.

For the first time, the Japanese capital is going to host an appointment of an FIA World Championship. The Tokyo E-Prix will take place on March 30 and will be the 7th round of the season.

The seventeen rounds

As usual, the Formula E championship will start in Mexico City on January 13, while the second and third rounds will take place in Diriyah, two weeks later. The fourth and fifth rounds haven’t been announced yet, with the FIA still discussing the possible hosts.

Sao Paolo has been confirmed for round 6, after debuting in the 2023 calendar, followed by Tokyo. The doubleheader of Rome – which usually took place in July – has been moved to April. Round 10 will be hosted by Monaco, while Berlin – a traditional appointment of the championship – is going to organize rounds 10 and 11.

Round 12, scheduled for May 25, doesn’t have a destination yet. The last four races have already been announced, with Jakarta E-Prix expected on the first weekend of June, followed by Portland at the end of the month. The last two rounds of the championship are going to take place in London, on July 21 and 22.
