We couldn’t get it done, Monday. So we’ll try again, Tuesday. For the second day in a row, NASCAR postponed the Autotrader Echopark Automotive 500 at Texas Motor Speedway, due to rain. It’ll resume Tuesday at noon, on NBCSN.
PRN will carry the radio broadcast, as will SiriusXM.
Clint Bowyer will lead the field to green, when it restarts.
The Cup Series completed 53 of the 334 laps, before it was red-flagged for rain, Sunday. NASCAR didn’t get a break in the weather to resume, Monday.
The forecast for Tuesday looks just as bleak as Monday and Sunday. From 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., the chance of rain ranges from 75 to 55%. It does decrease, however, from noon to 6 p.m., ranging from 45 to 35% chance of rain.
Jim Utter of Motorsport.com tweeted he’s heard NASCAR told the Cup drivers to be prepared to stay in the Dallas-Fort Worth area until Thursday.
Hearing #NASCAR Cup Series drivers have been told to be prepared to stay in the Dallas-Fort Worth area until Thursday if that's what it takes to race. They will not leave until the race is considered official.

At this time, NASCAR hasn’t announced how/if this will affect this weekend’s events at Martinsville Speedway.
