The Sauber F1 Team have released images online of their 2017 car, the C36 via Twitter.
This makes Sauber the first team in 2017 to release images of their 2017 car, although Williams did release rendered images online on Friday of their 2017 machine.
The car provides a strong insight into what teams will opt for for the 2017 Season, following new aerodynamic regulations. The images show the new wider Pirelli tyres for 2017, a lower rear wing, a more angled front wing, larger barge boards and the mounting of a fin on the engine cover.
Sauber have also opted for a different colour scheme in 2017, sporting a blue, white, and gold livery as opposed to their blue and yellow livery in 2015 and 2016.
The Sauber C36 will be driven both by Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein for the 2017 Season. Wehrlein however, will not take part in the first pre-season test in Spain on March 27 following an accident in the Race of Champions. GP2 runner-up Antonio Giovinazzi will take his place for the test.
