Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top offensive commits. Four-star wide receiver and Florida commit Marcus Burke has signed his NLI to the University of Florida.
This is a huge signing for Florida as Burke is one of the top receivers in the 2021 class. Florida head coach Dan Mullen likes Burke’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Gator offense in the future.
Burke is one of two receivers that’s expected to sign with Florida. Four-star wide receiver Daejon Reynolds is also expected to sign today. Furthermore, Under Armour All-American wide receiver Trevonte Rucker is expected to sign in February.

Marcus Burke is a four-star wide receiver out of Trinity Catholic Academy in Jacksonville, Florida. The Florida commit is one of the top wide receivers in the country. His commitment to the Gators is a blow to the Georgia Bulldogs as they were one of his top options.
As a matter of fact, during his recruitment, Burke received 21 offers from some of the top programs in the country. Burke had offers from schools like Auburn, Florida State. Georgia, Miami, Penn State, South Carolina, and Texas
Notably, on 247 Sports, Burke is the 170th ranked recruit and the 22nd ranked wide receiver in the country. On Rivals, Burke is the 172nd ranked recruit and the 28th ranked wide receiver in the country.
The Gators have added another top tier wide receiver who could really make an impact in the future. Burke is a big-time playmaker that uses his size and his speed well. In fact, he has drawn some comparisons to Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker. Burke will also be enrolling early so it will give him the opportunity to learn the playbook quickly.
