Vidal is rated as a three-star tailback, according to 247Sports. He will be an early enrollee with Troy. The incoming freshman also held offers from Louisiana State University, Memphis, and Auburn among others.

He will join a stacked running back room for the Trojans that includes B.J. Smith and Jabir Daughtry-Frye. The 5-foot-7 205-pound running back will be a great addition to the Trojans’ offense, and could play as early as this year.

The incoming freshman will get a first-hand look at the Trojans’ offense with his early enrollment. Coming in early also gives Vidal a better chance to showcase his skills to the coaching staff during the off-season and spring practices.

He joins a recruiting class that includes 18 three-star players. Kimani Vidal will compete for the starting running back spot next season for the Trojans.
