All-American CB Jahari Rogers Signs With Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of the top defensive recruits. Four-star cornerback Jahari Rogers has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as Rogers is a top ten ranked cornerback. Mullen likes his skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators defense in the future. Rogers is the fourth cornerback to sign with the Florida Gators with Ethan Pouncey, Fenley Graham , and Avery Helm.

Who Is Jahari Rogers?

Jahari Rogers is a four-star cornerback out of Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas. The newest Florida signee is one of the top cornerbacks in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Rogers was being pursued by many of the top teams in the country. Rogers signed with Florida over Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, TCU and Texas.

On the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Rogers is the 120th ranked recruit and the seventh ranked cornerback in the country. On ESPN, Rogers is the 134th ranked recruit and the 11th ranked athlete in the country. The Gators have added an elite cornerback who could really make an impact in the future. Being an early enrollee, Rogers will have time to develop his skills at cornerback. He played a lot of quarterback in his high school career. Jahari Rogers will also play in the Under Armour All-American Game.
