Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top offensive commits. Four-star wide receiver and Florida commit Arjei Henderson has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a huge signing for Florida as Henderson was expected to commit to FSU but picked the Gators. Mullen likes Henderson’s skill set as he’s a perfect fit and can really make a huge impact on the Florida Gators offense in the future. Arjei Henderson is the third wide receiver in the class with Dionte Marks and Ja’markis Weston.
Who is Arjei Henderson?
Arjei Henderson is a four-star wide receiver out of Fort Bend Travis High School in Richmond, Texas. The Florida commit is one of the top wide receivers in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Henderson was previously committed to Oregon and Oklahoma. Henderson really took off in recruiting once he stepped on to the recruiting scene. Black signed with Florida over Alabama, Clemson, FSU, Georgia, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State and Texas.
On 247 Sports, Black is the 140th ranked recruit and the 23rd ranked wide receiver in the country. On ESPN, Henderson is the 90th ranked recruit and the 13th ranked wide receiver in the country. The Gators have added an elite wide receiver who could really make an impact in the future. Henderson has the potential to be one of Florida’s top wide receivers in the future. The Under Armour All-American only visited the University of Florida once he committed to the Gators.
