Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed one of their top defensive targets. Four-star defensive end Lloyd Summerall has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a big signing for Florida as they recruiting against some of the best teams in the country. This is the third DE Mullen has signed in his first two recruiting classes at the University of Florida. Lloyd Summerall is currently the only defensive end signed in the class.

Lloyd Summerall is a four-star defensive end out of Lakeland High School in Lakeland, Florida. The newest Florida commit is one of the top defensive ends in the country. He was a tough get for the Gators as Florida was in battle with the Miami Hurricanes for him. Summerall really took off in recruiting once he got into the recruiting scene. Summerall signed with Florida over Alabama, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas.
On the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Summerall is the 237th ranked recruit and the 15th ranked weak-side defensive end in the country. On ESPN, Summerall is the 128th ranked recruit and the 13th ranked defensive end in the country. The Gators have added a really solid defensive end who could really make an impact in the future. Summerall is officially locked in the Florida Gators 2019 recruiting class.
