JUCO OT Noah Banks flips and signs with Florida

Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators coaching staff have signed a very solid offensive lineman in the class. Three-star JUCO offensive tackle Noah Banks has signed his NLI to the University of Florida. This is a nice signing for the Gators as Banks is a very strong offensive lineman who was committed to Arkansas. Florida offensive line coach John Hevesy is excited to add an offensive tackle like Banks who can add some depth. The Gators are in need of help in the trenches since the offensive line struggled for the most part of last season. Banks is the second offensive lineman committed to the Florida Gators with Chris Bleich.

Who is Noah Banks?

Noah Banks is a three-star JUCO OT out of Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Florida native committed to the Gators after he took an official weekend to the University of Florida last weekend. He is a big, physical offensive tackle. Bleich is a really solid offensive lineman with a lot of size and athletic ability. He is a tough blocker which could also play guard if the Gators need him to. Banks was an Arkansas commit before flipping and signing with the Gators. Banks also had offers from Auburn, Missouri and Texas.

On the 247 Sports Rankings, Banks is the 28th ranked JUCO recruit and the sixth ranked JUCO offensive tackle in the country. On ESPN, Bleich is the second ranked JUCO recruit in Florida and the 9th ranked JUCO offensive tackle in the country. Banks is a very nice addition to the Gators class. He will enroll in January and compete for a starting job next season.
