Darian Kinnard 2018 Kentucky Recruiting Profile

Darian Kinnard 2018 Kentucky Recruiting Profile

The 2018 recruiting class for Kentucky is shaping up to be one of Mark Stoops’ best ever. Currently sitting in the top 30 by both Rivals and 24/7 Sports the Cats are loading up at a number of positions.

One of those is on the offensive line and one of the biggest commits is tackle Darian Kinnard. The six foot seven 315 pound Kinnard plays for traditional power St. Ignatius in Cleveland, Ohio. He chose Kentucky over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Iowa State and Pittsburgh.

Kinnard is originally from Knoxville, Tennessee but moved to Ohio before the 2015 season. The new Volunteer coaching staff is trying hard to flip Kinnard from the Cats.

Kinnard rates as a four star player by both ESPN and 24/7 and is the 21st best player in the state of Ohio. In addition to his high rating Kinnard has been selected to play in the 2018 U.S Army All-American Bowl.

Kinnard is the first Kentucky player to play in the game since Kash Daniel, Drake Jackson and Landon Young were all selected to the 2016 game.

Members of the Big Blue Nation can check out why the coaching staff is so high on Kinnard by watching his highlights.

Not only do the Wildcats have four incoming linemen they also have Jackson and Young returning in 2018. This influx of players is going to keep offensive line coach John Schlarman happy for years to come.
