Birrell – Stearns: Time 11:00

Kimberly Birrell and Peyton Stears will meet in the first semifinal. Stearns took their only other match at the 2025 WTA Madrid tournament in the first round, and that match went all three sets. It was an extremely competitive match. Birrell is actually having the better year thus far. She’s 11-5 overall, while Stearns is only 8-6.
Best Bet to Make
The books have Stearns as the favorite, and I think this is probably the right call. Stearns is the higher-ranked player, and while she isn’t having as good a year as Birrell, she is more talented. I think Stearns is the better player, and that’s why I’m taking her straight up in this match at 1.64 on Pinnacle.
That being said, Stearns winning is a value bet for sure.

Krueger – Townsend: Time 13:00
H2H: 0-0
Ashlyn Krueger meets Taylor Townsend in a match between two Americans. While neither lady has done exceptionally well this year, Krueger and Townsend are both very capable when their game is on. Both ladies are riding a three-match winning streak. Surprisingly, they don’t have a head-to-head record.
Best Bet to Make
Townsend has been undeniable in this tournament, even when pushed into a third set. Krueger hasn’t really been tested yet, as she’s cruised into the semifinals without losing a set. I think Townsend is the better player, but I think Krueger is going to win this match. I’ll take Krueger straight up at 2.04 on Unibet.
That being said, Krueger winning is a value bet for sure.
