WTA Abu Dhabi Final
Bejlek – Alexandrova: February 7th, 2025 05:00
H2H: 0-1
Sara Bejlek is having a solid 2026 so far. She’s notched wins over Clara Tauson, Sonay Kartal, Jelena Ostapenko, and Ashlyn Krueger, and those are just four of her seven wins. Even her losses are quality, having lost to Krueger and Iva Jovic. She now faces the toughest challenge of the year in Ekaterina Alexandrova.
Bejlek is 12 years younger than Alexandrova. Bejlek has played in a total of 57 hardcourt matches, winning 35 of them. Her best year was 10-7, so she’s already three wins away from tying her career high. Bejlek is primarily a clay court player, but she’s still young and has plenty of chances to grow and diversify her skillset.
Ekaterina Alexandrova is 4-3 in 2026. She’s reached her first final so far, though she won one title in 2025 at WTA Linz. Should she prevail in this match, it would be Alexandrova’s first hardcourt title since WTA Seoul in 2023, and only her third overall. Alexandrova stays in the rankings by being consistent, but she doesn’t win many tournaments. Maybe she’s trying to change that this year? She’s also playing in the doubles final.
Alexandrova is fairly diverse as a player. She can do a bit of everything, and has. She has at least 137 wins on every surface but grass. She’s only 46-22, but even there she’s still 2:1 in wins and losses. She seems really motivated to win this tournament twice if she gets her way. She also beat Bejlek in their only match, though it was in the 2022 Czech League.

Best Bets to Make
Main Bet
The books have Alexandrova as the favorite. The average odds sit at 1.4-2.9 in Alexandrova’s favor. That’s not going to win you much money, though. I would take Alexandrova 2:0 at 2.1 on bet365. It’s .2 higher than most other sites, and is also the highest line on her for correct score. You could always take that up a few points by betting the under on 19.5 or fewer games, but the former bet requires virtually no stress and will end up being fairly close to any value you’re going to get betting on total games.
That being said, Alexandrova winning 2:0 is a value bet.
Value bet/ the best odds: Alexandrova winning 2:0 @2.1 @bet365
Second Bet
If you think Bejlek is absolutely going to win this, then I would take her straight up. You can grab Bejlek for 3.04 on Betfair, and that’s higher than anyone else is offering. If you’re sure Bejlek is going to win, but you don’t want to take her straight up, then maybe look at taking her 2:0 for 5.0 on bet365. I think it might be worth it to throw a little cash on Bejlek, just to see what happens. I still think Alexandrova is where you place your serious bets.
That being said, Bejlek winning is a value bet.
