As always, LWOT has the preview and prediction for all singles matches. But who will come out on top?
United Cup Day 4 Predictions
United States vs Spain
Coco Gauff vs Jessica Bouzas Maneiro
Head-to-Head: first meeting
Coco Gauff is entering her eighth professional season, but at age 21, she continues to raise her level each offseason. Gauff dispatched Solana Sierra 6-1 6-1 on Day 2 and has the United States positioned as a prime contender at the United Cup. Jessica Bouzas Maneiro is coming off a career year but it’s tough to see her beating Gauff on the hardcourts of Australia.
Prediction: Gauff in 2
Taylor Fritz vs Jaume Munar
Head-to-Head: Fritz 1-0 Munar
Taylor Fritz is coming off a hard-fought, three-set loss to Sebastian Baez. Jaume Munar also lost to Baez at this United Cup, 4-6 4-6 on Day 1. Both men will be motivated to get a win for their country on Day 4, but can you trust the Spaniard on a hardcourt against a top five player in the world?
Prediction: Fritz in 2
Great Britain vs Greece
Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Billy Harris
Head-to-Head: first meeting
After news surfaced that Stefanos Tsitsipas contemplated retirement in 2o25, he opened his season with an emphatic win over Shintaro Mochizuki. He has always played well in Australia and could really use a strong start to his season. Billy Harris is also coming off a win over Mochizuki, though, in less impressive fashion. However, the Brit ended his season with a 1-6 mark. If Tsitsipas even bring his B-game, he should cruise.
Prediction: Tsitsipas in 2
Emma Raducanu vs Maria Sakkari
Head-to-Head: Raducanu 4-0 Sakkari
Emma Raducanu begins her 2026 season against an opponent she has dominated throughout her career: Maria Sakkari. The Brit has not dropped a set to Sakkari in their four meetings. That said, Sakkari is coming off an impressive straight-set victory over Naomi Osaka. This momentum should bring her confidence ahead of this match, and Raducanu has not played a match in nearly three months. However, the head-to-head is hard to ignore.
Prediction: Raducanu in 3
