Four Players Receive 2025 Paris Masters Wild Cards

The Rolex Paris Masters is the final ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the 2025 calendar and the tournament recently announced the list of wild cards.

This year, the event will be held at Paris La Défense Arena, which is the considered Europe’s largest indoor arena, and main draw action will commence on Monday, October 27th.

Record seven-time champion Novak Djokovic pulled out of the 2025 edition. He is one three Top 10 players to withdraw while France’s No. 3 player Arthur Fils continues his recovery from injury. But viewership is unlikely to be affected with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner set to feature, and could be set for another top two showdown before the ATP Finals. The 56-player singles field will include four wild cards.

Four Players Receive Paris Masters Wild Cards

Unsurprisingly, the first two wild cards have been granted to the Shanghai finalists Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot, who are both celebrating a new career high ranking. World No. 27 Rinderknech is making his fourth main draw appearance in Paris, while his cousin Vacherot, who became the lowest-ranked Masters champion with his groundbreaking title success in Shanghai, will mark his debut.

The third wild card is Arthur Cazaux. The 23-year-old Frenchman won his first ATP Challenger title in 20 months at the Jinan Challenger two weeks ago. Cazaux is well placed to achieve a new career high ranking in the Top 60 before the end of the season. He made his Paris Masters main draw debut as a lucky loser last season and stunned Ben Shelton in the opening round.

Completing the four-man wild card list is Terence Atmane. The World No. 68 deservedly gets a main draw entry at his home Masters for the first time in his young career after becoming an instant sensation at the Cincinnati Open. Atmane reached the semifinals as a qualifier in Cincinnati. During the fortnight, he defeated two Top 10 players before falling to Jannik Sinner.
