ATP French Open Best Bets Including Sinner vs Lehecka

ATP French Open 1/16-Finals

Sinner – Lehecka: 31.05.2025 12:30 CEST
H2H: 3-0

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. Sinner played well in his first tournament after the doping ban, reaching the final in Rome. This week in Paris, Sinner won the opening round match against Rinderknech in straight sets. He trailed 0-4 in the third set but turned it around. Yesterday, in the second round, Sinner demolished Gasquet in straight sets. He was great under pressure, saving all three breakpoints. Last season in Paris, the Italian lost against Alcaraz in the semifinals.

Jiri Lehecka has won four of his last five matches. This week in Paris, the Czech defeated Thompson in straight sets easily. Lehecka struggled in the opening set. Other than that, he was a better player throughout the match. In the second round, Lehecka easily won against Davidovich Fokina in four sets. Besides losing his serve once, Lehecka dominated on his serve. This is his third appearance at the French Open. He has never made it past the second round before.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the big favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Lehecka is in solid form and played his best tennis this week in Paris. On the other hand, Sinner had ups and downs in his game this week. We expect Lehecka to keep this match tight.

That being said, Lehecka covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Zverev – Cobolli: 31.05.2025 13:30 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Alexander Zverev has won three of his last five matches. His last match before the ATP French Open was in Hamburg, where Muller upset him in the second round in three tight sets. Last season in Paris, Zverev was 2-1 up in the final against Alcaraz but lost in five sets. This week, Zverev easily defeated Tien in straight sets in the opening round. Zverev won against de Jong in four tight sets in the second round. After losing the opening set 3-6, the German stepped up his level and turned the match around.

Flavio Cobolli has won six straight matches. Last week in Hamburg, the young Italian surprised everyone by winning the ATP 500 tournament. In the final, Cobolli dominated against Rublev. This week in Paris, the Italian defeated Cilic in straight sets in the opening round. Today, Cobolli won against Arnaldi in four sets in the second round. Besides losing the third set 6-7, Cobolli was a better player throughout the match. Last season at the French Open, Cobolli lost in the second round against Rune.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Cobolli is the underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. He is in great form and a clay-court specialist. On the other hand, Zverev tends to fumble under pressure. We expect Cobolli to put up a big fight and keep this match tight.

That being said, Cobolli covering the games handicap is a value bet.
