He always played well in qualifying to reach this stage. Moutet’s greater variety and experience make him the favorite, but this could be a competitive match.

Bublik’s level often fluctuates more than Baez’s, but the Kazakhstani is still the better player on hard courts at his best. Despite securing a title in Winston-Salem in 2023, Baez is a clay court specialist. The Argentine always fights hard and will do what he can to upset the odds. However, Bublik is still the favorite to triumph.
