Indian Wells Best Bets Including Jessica Pegula vs Elina Svitolina

Value is hard to find in today’s society and even harder to find in sports betting. That said, it’s not impossible and we’re going to prove that today by giving you three best bets that you can place for WTA Indian Wells on March 11th. If you’re a fan of Jessica Pegula, this article just might make you happy as all get out. With it being the Round of 16, there aren’t a ton of matches to pick apart, but what is there is full of potential if you’re willing to take a risk based on solid evidence. Let’s get right into it.

Jessica Pegula is riding a real hot streak right now. She’s won seven straight matches, including her last tournament at WTA Austin, beating McCartney Kessler in straight sets. Now she has her sights set on Indian Wells, where she made it to the Round of 16 in 2021 but was then defeated by eventual runner-up Viktoria Azarenka in straight sets. She’s also 5-2 all-time against her Indian Wells opponent, Elina Svitolina. All of this makes for a couple of very exciting bets that one could lay down in Pegula’s name.

Indian Wells Best Bets for March 11

According to DraftKings, Jessica Pegula is +100 to win the first point on Svitolina’s 1st service game. In what amounts to a 50/50 tossup, you can double your money. Indian Wells is known for its hard playing surface and Pegula is 15/4 on hard courts in 2025. While Svitolina isn’t too shabby herself sitting at 8/3, she’s not had the same consistency as Pegula headed into this match. Svitolina seems to win two matches, then she loses a match. She will follow that up with a win and then two losses. She’s struggling to find consistency and she can be hit or miss on hard courts, at least the last three years. The icing on the cake is that Pegula won 79% and 85% of her first-serve points in her second and third-round matches, respectively.

That being said, Pegula winning that point is an easy bet to feel confident about.

Elina Svitolina – Jessica Pegula (-3.5): 03.11.2025 21:00 CEST

H2H: 5-2

As we’ve already established, Pegula has largely had her way with Svitolina in their head-to-head competitions. Given the head-to-head record between the two of them, Pegula winning by more than 3.5 games almost seems a given. Outside of her losses to Svitolina, Pegula has cleared this line in every match they’ve played. It’s playing with house money. Pegula looked dominant against Svitolina in the second round of Doha and the only other time Svitolina has beaten Pegula outside of the Paris Olympics was back in 2021 at Abu Dhabi. This is not a matchup that has traditionally favored Svitolina and I don’t believe in the myth of someone “being due” for a win, as that’s not how math works. There’s one horse in this race worth betting on and it isn’t a Ukrainian horse.
That being said, Pegula easily clears the games handicap at -3.5 games.

Qinwen Zheng (-2.5) – Marta Kostyuk : 03.11.2025 21:00 CEST

H2H: 1-1

This is one of two matches that appears to be a coin flip based on odds and prior results. While their lifetime rivalry sits at a blistering 1-1, we do have at least some indication of how these two matchup when court type is taken into account as Zheng took the last match they played on a hard surface back in 2023 in Montreal. The first-round matchup saw Zheng clean up in three sets while serving twice. Neither of these individuals has set 2025 on fire, both coming in at 6-4 on the year. While Zheng has gone 22-10 on hard surfaces in the past year, Kostyuk sits at a much less impressive 19-13.
That being said, Qinwen Zheng covering is the safest bet.
