ATP Stockholm Best Bets Including Norrie vs Kecmanovic

Cameron Norrie in action ahead of the ATP Los Cabos Open.

ATP 250 Stockholm 1/16-Finals

Moutet – Fearnley: 15.10.2024 13:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Corentin Moutet has lost four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Shanghai, Moutet lost his opening match against Vukic in three tight sets. Moutet will make his first indoor hard court appearance of the season. He had his biggest results on the slow clay courts. Corentin won his last main-draw match in indoor events in 2022. His last and only appearance in Stockholm was in 2019, where he was stopped in the first round.

Jacob Fearnley has won 12 straight matches. Two weeks ago, Feanrley won the challenger title in Orleans, winning against Mayot in the final. Here in Stockholm, Jacob successfully qualified for the main-draw tournament. In the first qualifying round, Fearnley defeated Pokorny in straight sets. Yesterday, in the final qualifying round, Jacob won against Majchrzak in three tight sets. The young Brit recently won back-to-back challenger titles, which brought him into the top 100 in the rankings. His biggest match was earlier this season at Wimbledon, where he won the set against Djokovic in the second round. So far this season, Jacob has won all 20 matches on indoor hard courts.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Fearnley is the favorite in this matchup. We believe that he will dominate in this match from the very start, considering his current form. Moutet usually underperforms on the fast courts such as this one.

That being said, Fearnley winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Jacob Fearnley winning 2-0 @2.10 @bet365

Norrie – Kecmanovic: 15.10.2024 14:30 CEST
H2H: 3-0

Cameron Norrie has won three of his last five matches. Last week in France, Cameron lost in the quarterfinal of the challenger tournament in Roanne. Norrie lost against van Assche in three tight sets. This has been the worst season for the Brit, who dropped outside the top 50 in the rankings. So far this season, Norrie has not had any remarkable results. Around this time last year, Norrie played in Vienna, where he lost in the 1/8-Finals against Zverev in straight sets.

Miomir Kecmanovic has lost three of his last five matches. Last week in Shanghai, Kecmanovic lost in the second round of the tournament against Popyrin in straight sets. So far this season, Miomir has not had any remarkable results, which led to him being outside the top 50 in the rankings. Last year in Stockholm, Kecmanovic reached the semifinals, where he lost against Kotov in straight sets. He loves to play under fast conditions such as this one.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, this should be a 50-50 match. Both players are out of form. However, Miomir had some solid matches for the last couple of weeks. Norrie is coming back from an injury, so we expect him to be rusty against Miomir tomorrow.

That being said, Kecmanovic winning is a value bet.
