ATP Chengdu Best Bets Including Musetti vs Kachmazov

Lorenzo Musetti US Open

ATP Chengdu 250 semifinals

Musetti – Kachmazov: 23.09.2024 11:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Lorenzo Musetti has won four of his last five matches. Here in Chengdu, Lorenzo defeated O’Connell in three tight sets as we predicted. Lorenzo was a better player under pressure, and won deservingly. In the quarterfinals, Lorenzo defeated Mannarino in three sets as well. Musetti is still a top 20 player, and he is looking for some decent results in the next couple of weeks to cement his top 20 status. So far this season, Musetti has not had any remarkable results on the hard courts. Last year in Chengdu, Lorenzo reached the semifinals, where he lost against Safiullin in straight sets.

Alibek Kachmazov is an upcoming Russian talent. He has won five straight matches. Kachmazov fought through the qualifying tournament here in Chengdu. Alibek won both of his qualifying matches in straight sets. In his opening match, Kachmazov defeated Kovacevic in tight straight sets. He lost his serve only once, which was in the second set. However, Alibek won almost all the important points of the match, and closed out the match. After that, Kachmazov defeated Daniel in the second round, and showed how talented he is. Today, in the quarterfinals, Kachmazov upset Jarry in straight sets. He is yet to lose a set in the tournament.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Musetti is the big favorite in this matchup. We do not agree with that. Kachmazov played great tennis throughout the whole week, and he will play without any pressure. We believe that he will keep this match tight.

That being said, Kachmazov covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Alibek Kachmazov +3.5 games handicap @2.00 @bet365

Hanfmann – Shang: 23.09.2024 13:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Yannick Hanfmann has won five straight matches. Last week in the Davis Cup, Hanfmann won both of his matches, and helped Germany to qualify for the knockout stage. Here in Chengdu, Yannick defeated Mochizuki in straight sets in the first round of the tournament. Yannick served well, and lost his serve only once. In the second round, Hanfmann defeated Mpetshi Perricard in three tight sets as we predicted. Once again, Hanfmann served well, offering only two breakpoints. Today, in the quarterfinals, Yannick defeated Martinez in straight sets as we predicted.

Juncheng Shang has won four of his last five matches. Here in Chengdu, Shang defeated Nishikori in the first round as we predicted. After that, Juncheng defeated Safiullin in three tight sets as we predicted. Today, in the quarterfinals, Shang defeated Bublik in straight sets as we predicted. Shang is looking to get into the top 50 in the rankings, so he is hoping for a solid result in front of his own crowd. Shang has been consistent throughout the whole season. He is still only 19 years old, and with such talent, we believe that he will eventually become a top 10 player.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Shang is the big favorite in this matchup. We believe that he is currently a way better player than Hanfmann, and that he will win this match easily.

That being said, Shang winning in straight sets is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Juncheng Shang winning 2-0 @1.91 @bet365
