Nishioka upset Frances Tiafoe to reach this stage, his record this season is very modest but he is a capable counterpuncher. Rinderknech has played two lucky losers and a qualifier to reach the semis, he has a real shot to reach his maiden ATP final but Nishioka inspires more confidence in terms of form right now.
