Today, Fils won against Cazaux in two comfortable sets. It was his first main-draw match on grass that he had won. Last year, Fils lost both main-draw matches he played on grass.

According to the bookies, Humbert is just a slight favorite in this matchup. The main reason for that is his current terrible form. We believe that given his experience on grass, Humbert should be a way bigger favorite in this matchup.

Aleksandar Vukic has lost three of his last five matches. Last week, Vukic lost in the 1/8-Finals of the Surbiton Challenger against Harris in straight sets. Here in Hertogenbosch, Vukic won comfortably against Purcell in straight sets. Vukic served 11 aces without making any double faults. He also saved both breakpoints, and played overall a very solid match. Although Vukic has a big serve, he never had any remarkable results on grass in his career.
Karen Khachanov has won three of his last five matches. Two weeks ago, Karen was upset by Kovalik, losing in five sets at the French Open. This will be his first grass court match of the season. Last year, Khachanov did not play any matches on grass. His last match on grass was in 2022 in Halle, where he lost against Otto in three sets. Karen reached the quarterfinal here in Hertogenbosch in 2021 when he lost against Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. Besides reaching the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in 2021, Karen never had any remarkable results on grass.

According to the bookies, Vukic is a big underdog in this matchup. We believe that he will serve well once again, and keep this match tight. The only time they have met was in 2021 at the Australian Open where Khachanov won in four very tight sets.
