ATP French Open 1/64-Finals
Cachin – Paul: 27.05.2024 15:40 CEST
H2H: first meeting
Pedro Cachin has lost four of his last five matches. Before that, Cachin had reached the 1/16-Finals in Madrid, losing against Nadal in three tight sets. So far this season, Cachin has only got three wins on clay, which is unusual for him. Last week, Cachin lost in the first round of Lyon 250 against Kotov. Last year at the French Open, Cachin won in the first round against Dominic Thiem in five sets. After that, Cachin lost against Borna Coric, also in 5 sets. It was overall a solid tournament for him.
Tommy Paul has won four of his last five matches. Last week, Paul lost in the semifinals of the ATP Masters Rome 1000 against Nicolas Jarry in three sets. En route to the semifinal, Paul won against some solid players such as Medvedev and Hurkacz. Before that, Paul lost against Francisco Cerundolo in the 1/16-Finals of ATP Masters 1000 Madrid. Being an American, Paul does not love to play on clay and has yet to have any remarkable results on clay so far in his career other than winning the Boys’ French Open title a couple of years ago. In his last six attempts at the French Open, Paul never made it past the second round.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Pedro Cachin is a huge underdog. Being an Argentinian, Cachin loves to play on clay, which we also saw last year in Paris. We believe that he will keep this match tighter than the bookies think.
That being said, Cachin covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Monfils – Seyboth Wild: 27.05.2024 20:15 CEST
H2H: 1-0
Gaël Monfils has lost four of his last five matches. Monfils looks terrible on the court. He is 37 years old, and his form has been declining for a while now. At the beginning of May, Monfils lost in the first round of the ATP Masters 1000 in Rome against Monteiro. Before that, Gael lost against Darderi in the first round of the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid. So far this season, Monfils has played only six matches on clay with a losing 2-4 record. The only two wins were against Rocha and Vukic, who are almost out of the top 100.
Thiago Seyboth Wild has lost three of his last five matches. Last week, Seyboth Wild won in the first round of ATP Lyon against Martinez in straight sets. After that, Seyboth retired mid-match against Etcheverry. We believe that it was nothing serious, and that he rather wanted to rest for the French Open. Last year at the French Open, Seyboth Wild upset Medvedev in the first round and reached the third round where he lost against Nishioka in five sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Seyboth Wild is just a slight underdog. We believe that he should have been a way bigger favorite considering how Monfils has been playing lately.
That being said, Seyboth Wild winning is a value bet.
