ATP Indian Wells Day 4 Predictions Including Holger Rune vs Milos Ranoic

Holder Rune French Open

ATP Indian Wells Day 4 brings second round matches and seeded players into the mix. Holger Rune is looking to win his fifth title and second Masters, whilst Milos Raonic is looking for his ninth title but first mMsters. This could be the match of the round.

ATP Indian Wells Day 4 Predictions

Hubert Hurkacz vs Gael Monfils

Head to Head: 1-1

Hubert Hurkacz is the eighth seed and has a couple of quarterfinal placings so far this season. The Pole is against a fan favorite, though, Gael Monfils. The Frenchman is possibly coming towards the end of his career, but is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. These last met in 2019 where Monfils claimed the win at the Canadian Masters, but Hurkacz then won the meeting at the Shanghai Masters. Both were won in straight sets. This will be a fun match to watch
Prediction: Hurkacz in 3

Tommy Paul vs Alex Michelsen

Head to Head 1-0

The all-American clash. Tommy Paul and Alex Michelsen have already played once this season, in the second round at Delray Beach. Paul was the third seed there and Michelsen unseeded. A very similar situation to Indian Wells. Paul is 17th seed and Michelsen is unseeded. The younger American is just starting out on the main tour so has lots to learn. However, having recently played his compatriot Michelsen may actually benefit from this and surprise Paul.
Prediction: Paul in 3

Fabio Fognini vs Sebastian Baez

Head to Head: 0-1

Fabio Fognini has really only just started the season. A couple of challengers, starting in Spain, where the Italian lost in the second round. Fognini then failed to qualify for the Qatar Open, before getting in to Indian Wells. His opponent, Sebastian Baez, is coming hot off a title in the Chile Open. The Argentine is unlikely to have much trouble with the unseeded Italian.
Prediction: Baez in 2

Holger Rune vs Milos Raonic

Head to Head: First Meeting

Holger Rune is the seventh seed and looking for his second masters title of his career. The Dane is coming into Indian Wells off the back of a semifinal in Mexico. Milos Raonic has not played much yet this season. In fact Indian Wells will be only his third event. After a first round defeat in Melbourne, the Canadian followed this up with a quarter final in Rotterdam last month. Raonic had to pull out of that match in the second set though, so this is his next chance at something. The Canadian has eight ATP titles to his name, but no masters events. Raonic will want to try and make another masters final, he has played in four previously.
Prediction: Rune in 3
