Her opponent, Ashlyn Krueger, is a young American prodigy. She has already had some big wins in her young career, but we believe that she is yet to show us her best tennis. Playing at home is always a privilege for a player. We believe that this tournament will be a breaking point for her to show us how good she really is. Both players had already played against each other last year in similar conditions. Krueger absolutely dominated in that match against Podoroska. We believe that Krueger is even more experienced this year and that she will win easily yet again!

However, she played really well in Dubai and showed some signs of her best form. Her opponent, Sara Errani, is an Italian veteran. She played perfect qualification rounds here in Indian Wells. We have to say that she had an easy draw, so that is also a big part of why she won that easily! Errani usually has big problems against heavy hitters such as Osaka. If Osaka just stays consistent in this match, we believe that Errani will not have a chance. Osaka showed some good signs, and we believe that she will do well tonight on the big stage!
