This event has attracted many top seeds, and the level of play will undoubtedly be very high. ATP Stockholm Day 4 Predictions
Arthur Rinderknech vs Jozef Kovalik
Head-to-head: Rinderknech 1-1 Kovalik
Arthur Rinderknech managed to finally shake off his three-match losing streak, as he was a set and a break up against Alexander Bublik before he retired. Though Bublik wasn’t up to the mark on Tuesday, Rinderknech took full advantage, as he dropped a single game from the nine games played. On the other side, Jozef Kovalik edged out Peter Gojowczyk in a very close match that lasted almost three hours. He had had to pack his bags after falling out in the second qualifying round. He made it in as a lucky loser, and has managed to make use of the opportunity. Rinderknech is looking impressive on the Stockholm hard courts, and he should be able to take the lead in their head-to-head.

Andrea Vavassori vs Denis Shapovalov
Head-to-head: First Meeting
Andrea Vavassori defeated fellow qualifier Pavel Kotov in straight sets to book a second-round birth at the Stockholm Open. Before that, Vavassori battled his way through the qualifying rounds, something which he failed to do a few months back. His performances on hard courts are not as remarkable as on clay, making his three-match run more remarkable. Denis Shapovalov will not at all be pleased with his results in the last three tournaments. He was looking remarkably solid at the US Open, but after a shock loss to Lloyd Harris, his form has dipped. Still, this match shouldn’t be very tough for Shapovalov. Being the defending champion brings some extra pressure, but it might as well encourage Shapovalov, knowing that he’s won this thing before, and can do it again.

Dan Evans vs Alejandro Davidovich Fokina
Head-to-head: Evans 0-1 Fokina
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina defeated Mackenzie McDonald in the first round to book a spot in the second round. Fokina deserves credit for his display of tenacity and grit throughout the match. However, he faced 12 breakpoints in the match, which is not a pleasant stat at all. After the US Open, Dan Evans has won just two of the six matches he has played. However, it should be considered that he was somewhat unfortunate to draw up tough opponents in the early rounds. This is not an easy match either, but he has to overcome some challenges to keep a good ranking. I reckon that Evans will prevail in a close fight.

Filip Krajinovic vs Felix Auger-Aliassime
Head-to-head: Krajinovic 2-2 Auger Aliassime
Felix Auger-Aliassime had to face a couple of shock defeats after his incredible run to the semifinal at the US Open. He was starting to look good in Vienna but lost to eventual champion Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinal. He will be looking to get his form back here in Stockholm. Filip Krajinovic took just over an hour to dismiss qualifier Denis Istomin in his first-round match. Krajinovic took the lead right from the first game, and then never let it go. The duo has played four matches before, with both having two wins apiece. However, Auger-Aliassime is the superior player by far. Furthermore, considering the fast courts of Stockholm, it will not be wrong to see Auger-Aliassime as the favorite, even when he isn’t the top seed.
