ATP Vienna Day 3 Predictions Including Reilly Opelka vs Jannik Sinner

Reilly Opelka US Open

The first round will complete at the ATP Vienna Erste Bank Open, we have predictions for day 3 Including Andy Murray vs Carlos Alcaraz. In this set of matches the big serving American Reilly Opelka takes on Italy’s Jannik Sinner, as we have a total of five Italians on the match card today.

Reilly Opelka vs Jannik Sinner

Sinner is one of the hottest players on tour right now, he has captured two titles since the US Open (Sofia and Antwerp last week), Sinner is 10-1 since the US Open and will be a strong favorite over Opelka. Both players are talented but Opelka has struggled for consistency, he reached his only final this year in Canada but has lost two straight matches. Opelka’s serve should keep the match competitive, but Sinner is the more well rounded player. Sinner in 2

Lorenzo Sonego vs Dominik Koepfer

Koepfer reaches this main draw as a lucky loser, the German has had a career year with 19 tour level wins but only has one quarterfinal and one semifinal on the ATP Tour this year. Sonego reached the quarterfinals in San Diego and has found success on faster surfaces, his 27 tour level wins this year are also a career best. This match will be close, but Sonego looks like the more reliable player. Sonego in 2

Nikoloz Basilashvili vs Matteo Berrettini

Berrettini leads the h2h 3-2, including a win on clay in Rome this year. Basilashvili comes off the Indian Wells final and edged Pablo Carreno Busta in the first round in Vienna. He also reached the quarterfinals in Metz recently and is in excellent form. Berrettini was a US Open quarterfinalist, and won his first round match in Vienna in straights. Basilashvili’s form looks to be the better of these players right now and should have the upper hand in what looks like a great matchup. Basilashvili in 3
