Kristie Ahn vs Jasmine Paolini

Cristina Bucsa vs Nuria Parrizas Diaz

Parrizas Diaz’s incredible form at the ITF level makes her a player to watch this week. Bucsa has a couple of ITF quarterfinals this season and little else of note, this is her first WTA main draw match of the year. Parrizas Diaz lost her first two matches of the season but hasn’t been defeated since, Parrizas Diaz has won 15 matches in a row entering this tournament, which represents three ITF titles, she won a fourth ITF title in December as well. Parrizas Diaz has never made it past the top 150 but this tournament represents a real chance at breakthrough. Parrizas Diaz in 2

Anna-Lena Friedsam vs Viktoriya Tomova

The former top 50 player Friedsam is looking to return to those heights. It’s been a quiet 2021 for both Friedsam and her opponent Viktoriya Tomova who has never broken the top 100. This match may not be straightforward but every advantage looks to be on the side of Friedsam. Friedsam in 2

Chloe Paquet vs Stefanie Voegele

Chloe Paquet has found success on clay but has struggled this season while Voegele has only played in three matches this season but historically has stronger results as a former top 50 player. Voegele should be able to find some form here and could win a few matches, starting with this one. Voegele in 2
