In the fourth installment of the Lucky Loser Tennis Podcast, Cody Fitzpatrick and Jakub Bobro wrap up Indian Wells and predict their Top 10 players in 2020 from ATP and WTA, cleverly calling them “Kanye Rankings” (referring to the upcoming campaign of Kanye West as president in 2020). But first we discuss Indian Wells, and the surprising and not-so-surprising winners in Elena Vesnina and Roger Federer. We also discuss, now an ATP Masters 1000 semifinalist, Pablo Carreno Busta. Is this the peak of his career? How high can he go? After this brief summarization, we move on to The Kanye Rankings. As a teenager, I show my belief in the #NextGen and WTA Rising Stars in my rankings much more than Cody, who made some outrageous predictions for 2020 which made me go: “What?! No!” in an oddly shrill voice, several times. We have also done our draw predictions for Miami, but decided to not upload them. After re-listening, it seemed uninteresting, and just seemed like repeating names without any real substance. Anyway, we hope you enjoy our podcast!
