Lilli Tagger Indian Wells

WTA Prague Final Best Bets Daria Snigur vs Lilli Tagger

After an interesting week of play with many upsets, the WTA Prague Open has a final that not many predicted. Both underdogs won their respective matches against the higher-seeded players and will now meet in the final. Either Daria Snigur or Lilli Tagger will be a first-time winner in Prague. Tagger is playing in Prague for the first time, and Snigur lost in the first round here in 2022. Will it be the Ukrainian or the Austrian to lift the title? LWOS has our best bets for this match. Snigur – Tagger: 8:00 EST

H2H: 0-0

This will be a first-time meeting between Daria Snigur and Lilli Tagger for the crown in Prague. Tagger has had a fairly respectable year, going 26-15 overall and winning one title at the ITF level. Daria Snigur is 40-12 overall with one WTA title and one ITF crown, both played indoors. This is the fourth final for Snigur on the year, and the sixth tournament in which she’s reached the semifinals or better. It’s not a surprise that the books have her as the favorite in this match.

Lilli Tagger is one of the better ITF players in the World. Last year, she played in eight tournaments and reached at least the semifinals in each. She made five finals. This is the third final for Tagger this year. She lost both her WTA finals, but easily won her only ITF crown. She’s extremely capable of playing well enough to win in this match, but she’s going to have to show it right out of the gate. There just isn’t enough evidence on the year to suggest she’s capable of falling behind and then storming back against a better opponent.

Best Bet to Make

The average odds on the books sit at 1.69-2.16 in favor of Snigur. 1.65 is the lowest for Snigur, and 2.1 is the lowest for Tagger, so the bookmakers think there’s enough there for a reasonably close match. Snigur is 8-2 in her last ten matches, whereas Tagger sits at 6-4 in hers. I think Snigur is going to win this one in straight sets, and I would take her on bet365 where the odds are 2.63 if she does so. If you’re more concerned with playing it safe, then you can just take Snigur straight up for 1.75 on Betfair.

That being said, betting on Snigur winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
