The WTA Wimbledon semifinals are littered with talent, but the best part is that none of them have ever won here before. Someone is going home with a Wimbledon title for the first time in their career. Will Karolina Muchova finally put to bed the argument that she can’t win the big one? Will Coco Gauff win the third different major of her career? Maybe either Linda Noskova or Marta Kostyuk announce their arrival on tennis’ big stage. Whichever story plays out, it’s guaranteed to entertain! I also want to announce the hire of my good friend Matt Zemek as our new betting writer. I’ve known Matt for the better part of a decade. WTA Wimbledon
Muchova – Gauff: 8:30 EST
H2H: 1-6
When it comes to the Wimbledon semifinal match between Karolina Muchova vs Coco Gauff, either demons will be conquered, or history will repeat itself. Not only has Gauff beaten Muchova six times, but she’s also done it in two Majors, one of which was also a semifinal like Wimbledon. Muchova finally got revenge on Gauff when she beat her in the quarterfinals of WTA Stuttgart. Of course, this also came after she lost to her twice this year, including the 2026 Australian Open. Do I also mention that four of Gauff’s wins came in the semifinals or later?
Best Bet to Make
Muchova is 10-1 on grass this year, having won at Bad Homburg right before the tournament at the All-England Club. Gauff is 5-1 on grass, but all of those wins were in this tournament. Muchova has as much positive momentum as she could have heading into this fight. She’s 9-1 in her last ten matches, and she’s playing some of her best tennis on grass, too. Even the books think Muchova is the better player, with the average odds being 1.82-1.99 in favor of Muchova. Gauff has been playing for her life in the last four matches, and seven of her last ten matches have gone to a third set. In that same span, Muchova has had two matches go to a third set. You can make a reasonable profit taking Muchova straight up, and that’s probably your best bet.
That being said, betting on Muchova winning is a value bet for sure.

Kostyuk – Noskova: Time 10:00 EST
H2H: 1-0
Marta Kostyuk will take on Linda Noskova in our other Wimbledon semifinal. This side of the draw is the young upstarts. I’m not calling Muchova or Gauff old, just more experienced than Noskova and Kostyuk. Between the two of them, they have only five tournament titles. Wimbledon would easily be the biggest win of their careers and set them on a different path of expectations. I do not envy the soul who tries to pick between these two. Kostyuk has played brilliantly all year, reaching the semifinals or later five times. Then there’s Noskova, who is 10-1 on grass in 2026, including a title in Berlin.
Best Bet to Make
As well as Noskova has played this year, the books have her as the underdog. The average currently sits at 1.74-2.09 in favor of the Ukrainian. I understand why the books feel this way. Kostyuk continues to rise in the ranks of women’s tennis and prove that she’s going to be around for years to come. Kostyuk is 28-5 this year, and playing like it. Of all the tournaments in which she has played, all but three saw her reach at least the semifinals. That’s a different level than the one Noskova is operating on, as good as she is right now. Since I am a soul who must pick in this match, I am going to swing for the fences.
That being said, betting on Kostyuk winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
