WTA Queen’s Club Round of 16 Best Bets Including Victoria Mboko vs Karolina Pliskova

The WTA Queen’s Club round of 16 begins Tuesday. The WTA Tour shifts into grass season right after the end of Roland-Garros. Queen’s Club is a WTA 500 event in England. With tour players having just three weeks before Wimbledon, most pros will attempt to play at least two of those three weeks, maybe allowing one week for rest. Because the grass season is so short, players need to get used to the surface, since they don’t usually practice on it for most of the year, especially in the offseason. Players need the match play as much as they need the paycheck and the ranking points. LWOS has our best bets for the first three matches. Post your best bets and thoughts in the comments.

Siegemund – Anisimova: Time 8:00 EST

H2H: 0-0

Laura Siegemund enjoyed being a favorite in her first-round match, but she will be anything but against Amanda Anisimova at Queen’s Club. Anisimova is struggling to find her groove in 2026. In fact, Anisimova has not made a final this year. She’s the No. 2 seed at Queen’s Club, as only Elena Rybakina is seeded higher than Anisimova. This really is Anisimova’s best shot at winning a title, but she’s going to have to show up because Siegemund is no easy foe.

Best Bet to Make

Siegemund is a 3.26-1.33 favorite, on average, across the books. Both women are 6-4 in their last ten matches, and they’re both 3-2 in their last five matches. Anisimova is a favorite, but I will not be shocked if she loses this match. I think that the combination of Anisimova’s lack of confidence and Siegemund’s fairly competent recent play creates conditions ripe for an upset. Should you choose to bet on Anisimova, you can get her winning 2:0 for a very attractive return. That said, I like taking a flier on Siegmund in an upset at 3.52 over on Betfair.

That being said, betting on Siegemund winning is a value bet for sure.

Jovic – Eala: Time 6:30 EST

H2H: 1–0

Iva Jovic has to be laughing at the idea of playing Alexandra Eala at Queen’s Club less than two weeks after she met her for the first time in the first round of the French Open. Jovic won that match in straight sets, with Eala winning six total games. Jovic is 6-4 in her last ten matches, and she’s 3-2 in her last five matches. Eala is 7-3 in her last ten matches, but she’s also 5-0 in her last five. The lowest-ranked player Eala has lost to in her last ten matches was World No. 51, Oleksandra Oliynykova. So, it’s not like Eala was playing poor competition. That said, Jovic has also been playing against very competent opposition.

Best Bet to Make

I suspect that Jovic is the favorite at Queen’s Club because of her victory over Eala at the French Open. I don’t agree with this. Sure, Jovic is 9-1 all-time on grass, but Eala is 21-8. Eala is literally coming off winning WTA Birmingham, so she’s absolutely dialed in. You could point to the fact that she went all three sets in her last two matches, but Jovic had a three-round war of her own in her last match before Queen’s Club. Eala is not only in fantastic form, but she’s found a groove on grass, which is more than Jovic can say after only one match on grass.

That being said, betting on Eala winning is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Eala winning @2.53 @Pinnacle

Mboko – Pliskova: Time 9:30 EST

H2H: 0–0

Victoria Mboko has to be loving life right now. Not only is Mboko one of the best players in women’s tennis, but she’s also pairing with one of the greatest of all-time in Serena Williams. While all of the attention is focused on Mboko’s doubles match with Serena as her partner, she still has a singles career that has seen her yet to win a title in 2026. Mboko won seven titles last year, but she hasn’t won any this year despite making three finals. Karolina Pliskova dispatched McCartney Kessler in the first round of Queen’s Club, and that’s a solid win for her.

Best Bet to Make

There’s a reason Victoria Mboko is a favorite in this match. Not only is she at a different level than Pliskova when it comes to her play, but she’s also shown that she can handle the pressure of the moment. Mboko is a one-point favorite, on average. While I was keen on an upset in our previous matches, you’ll find no such bravado for this match. I do think Mboko is the smart choice, and you can get Mboko winning 2:0 at 2.3 on William Hill. Don’t overthink this one.

That being said, betting on Mboko winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
