Mirra Andreeva will be in action at the WTA Adelaide Open.

WTA Linz Best Bets Including Mirra Andreeva vs Elena Gabriela Ruse

WTA Linz has now hit the semifinals, and LWOS is back with best bets for both matches. Mirra Andreeva remains the only seeded player to reach the semis, having proven herself worthy of the No. 1 seed. Can she finish the job, or will Elena Gabriela Ruse pull the upset? Anastasia Potapova will meet Donna Vekic for the other spot in the final. Come join the conversation, and let us know if you like our picks.

WTA Linz

Potapova – Vekic: Time 08:00

H2H: 0-2

Anastasia Potapova will meet Donna Vekic in the semifinals. This is just the second semifinal for Vekic, her other coming at WTA Manila. Potapova won this tournament in 2023 and made the quarterfinals the last two years. Potapova only won a single tournament last year, so this would be a solid start to 2026 for her.

Best Bet to Make

Potapova might feel like the pick for many, but it’s important to remember that Vekic is 2-0 against her, and they have met before on clay. Yes, that meeting was a 2022 WTA Paris first-round match, but a WTA match on clay is a WTA match on clay. It’s also not like Potapova is all that impressive this year, and Vekic is 8-1 on clay in 2026. Gimme Vekic in the upset at 2.14 on Pinnacle

That being said, Vekic straight up is a value bet for sure.

Andreeva – Ruse: Time 06:30

H2H: 1-0

Mirra Andreeva was pilloried by me the other day, and she made me look like a fool in return. I’m not daft enough to think that my words had anything to do with her performance, but her performance in that third set was something she hasn’t shown me very often. If Andreeva keeps that intensity focus in the next two rounds, then she should absolutely cruise to her second title of 2026, and maybe a different outlook going forward.

Best Bet to Make

Andreeva showed that she can finish off a tough opponent when it matters. Andreeva is also very proficient on clay. Ruse is a worthy opponent, and she’s certainly no slouch on clay. Even with all that, Ruse still has a while to go before she’s ready to compete regularly for WTA titles. I like Andreeva under 19.5 games at 1.80 on at least five sites.

That being said, Under 19.5 games is a value bet for sure.
