ATP Madrid Final Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev Best Bets

The ATP Masters 1000 Madrid final sets up a high-quality showdown between the red-hot Jannik Sinner and a confident Alexander Zverev. Sinner has looked almost untouchable throughout the tournament, but Zverev’s strong serving and proven success in Madrid’s faster clay conditions could make this more competitive than the odds suggest. If the German maintains a high first-serve level, he has the tools to keep the final close.

ATP Masters 1000 Madrid final

Sinner – Zverev: 03.05.2026 17:00 CEST
H2H: 9-4

Jannik Sinner has won twenty-two straight matches. The Italian has won three consecutive Masters 1000 titles in Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo. Sinner defeated Bonzi and Moller in the opening rounds this week in Madrid. In the 1/8-Finals, the Italian defeated Norrie in straight sets. Besides losing his serve once, Sinner dominated throughout the match. In the quarterfinals, Sinner defeated Jodar in straight sets, offering and saving all seven breakpoints. Jodar played his best tennis, but it was not enough for the Italian.

In the semifinals, Sinner defeated Fils in straight sets. The crowd had higher expectations from Fils, but Sinner is unplayable at the moment. He served outstandingly well, not offering any breakpoints. Sinner ended the match in straight sets.

Alexander Zverev has won five straight matches. He was the champion here in 2018 and 2021. This week in Madrid, the German defeated Navone in the opening match, three sets to one. He struggled in the second set on his serve. In the third round, he defeated Atmane in straight sets. His toughest challenge happened in the 1/8-Finals against Mensik. After playing for over two hours, Zverev won in three tight sets. He trailed 1-2 in the deciding set, but stepped up his level and turned the match around. In the quarterfinals, the German demolished Cobolli in straight sets. He served 12 aces and saved both breakpoints.

In the semifinals, Zverev defeated Blockx in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints. Last season, Zverev lost to Cerundolo in the fourth round in straight sets.

Best Bets to Make

Main Bet

According to the bookies, Zverev is the heavy underdog in this matchup, but we disagree. He can push Sinner to his limits if he serves well. Sinner said in an interview that he feels tired after winning twenty-two consecutive matches. We expect a close match that could go either way.

That being said, Zverev covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Alexander Zverev +4.5 games handicap @1.67 @bet365

Second Bet

Zverev was the champion here in 2018 and 2021. He enjoys playing in Madrid under these faster clay-court conditions. If he serves well, he could upset Sinner today.

That being said, Zverev winning is a value bet.

Value bet/ the best odds: Alexander Zverev winning @5.00 @bet365
