ATP Doha Best Bets Including Carlos Alcaraz vs Karen Khachanov

The ATP 500 Doha quarterfinals are set for an exciting Thursday night. Carlos Alcaraz looks to keep his hot streak alive against Karen Khachanov, while Jakub Mensik takes on Jannik Sinner in their first-ever meeting. With big names and strong form on both sides, we’re in for some great tennis in Doha.

ATP 500 Doha quarterfinals

Alcaraz – Khachanov: 19.02.2026 17:30 CEST
H2H: 6-0

Carlos Alcaraz has won eleven straight matches. The last match he played before the ATP Doha was at the Australian Open, where he won the title, winning against Djokovic in the final in four sets. This week in Doha, the Spaniard defeated Rinderkench in the opening round in straight sets. He was great under pressure, saving both breakpoints he offered. In the second round, Alcaraz defeated Royer in straight sets as well. He trailed 2-5 in the second set, but turned it around, winning five consecutive games. Last season in Doha, Alcaraz lost to Lehecka in the quarterfinals in three tight sets.

Karen Khachanov has won three of his last five matches. He was the champion here in 2024. This week, in the opening round, Khachanov defeated Mochizuki in three sets. The Russian also defeated Fucsovics in the second round, in three sets. He tends to be inconsistent throughout the match. Besides losing his serve once in the second set, Khachanov served well throughout the match. Last season in Doha, Khachanov lost to Medvedev in the opening round in three tight sets.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Alcaraz is the heavy favourite in this matchup, and we agree. He leads 6-0 in head-to-head meetings against Khachanov. The Spaniard is in great form, and we expect him to prolong his winning streak against Khachanov easily.

That being said, Alcaraz covering the games handicap is a value bet.

Mensik – Sinner: 19.02.2026 19:00 CEST
H2H: first meeting

Jakub Mensik has won four of his last five matches. This week in Doha, Mensik defeated Choinski in three sets, after losing the opening set 6-7. The Czech trailed 0-2 in the deciding set, but turned it around. In the second round, he defeated Zhang in straight sets comfortably. He served great, not offering any breakpoints.

Jannik Sinner has won four of his last five matches. The last match he played before the ATP Doha was at the Australian Open, where Djokovic upset him in the semifinals in five tight sets. Around this time last season, the Italian served a three-month doping suspension. He is the second seed this week in Doha. In the opening round, Sinner demolished Machac in the opening round in straight sets. He offered no breakpoints throughout the match. In the second round, the Italian defeated Popyrin in straight sets. Once again, Sinner offered no breakpoints.

Best Bet to Make

According to the bookies, Sinner is the clear favourite in this matchup, but we disagree. Mensik has a heavy serve and enjoys playing against the best players. If he has a good day and serves well, we expect him to keep this match tight.

That being said, Mensik covering the games handicap is a value bet.
