New York City Hosting Racquet at the Rock and Garden Cup Exhibitions This December

The December tennis calendar won’t feature significant ATP/WTA Tour level action, but the tennis exhibition calendar is chocked full of well-known players looking to entertain fans and fill stadiums. The United States is hosting six events, all on the East Coast, with Aryna Sabalenka and friends playing in Atlanta, Carlos Alcaraz in Miami, and three other notable events in the country this December.

MSG Hosts The Garden Cup December 8th

Sabalenka may have won record WTA prize money in 2025, but she’s not slowing down, maximizing her earnings on the exhibition circuit. On Monday, December 8th at the iconic Madison Square Garden arena, an entertainment mecca, Sabalenka will continue her exhibition series at The Garden Cup against former Grand Slam Champion Naomi Osaka.

Nick Kyrgios looks to continue to return himself to tour level form, taking on American Tommy Paul in the men’s match.

Prudential Center in New Jersey Hosts Racquet at The Rock

Not to be outshined, the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey hosts an event the day prior, Sunday December 7th as elite player Carlos Alcaraz, who is also taking part in a Miami exhibition, will take on American favorite Frances Tiafoe, who always enjoys a big stage.

Amanda Anisimova will take on Emma Raducanu in the women’s match. The four players will also face off in a mixed doubles challenge to complete the night of entertainment.

Tiafoe Faces Fritz in Charlotte

Charlotte, North Carolina is another large city without a professional tennis tournament. On December 4th at 7 PM at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, the home of the NBA’s Hornets, the Charlotte Invitational exhibition will be held.

Tiafoe takes on fellow American Taylor Fritz, while the legendary Venus Williams, already set to compete on the WTA Tour in 2026, takes on Madison Keys. These events continue to offer compelling ways for tennis fans to see some of their favorite players live on the court, while allowing players to earn appearance fees while training for the new season.
