Swiatek Anisimova: Time 16:30

H2H: 1-1

Iga Swiatek and Amanda Anisimova have just started their rivalry. Switek struck the first blow when she double-bagled Anismova in the 2025 Wimbledon finals. Anisimova struck back in the quarterfinals of the US Open later in the year, and now the two will meet again in the WTA Finals. Anisimova is 8-2 in her last ten matches with a tournament win at WTA Beijing and a US Open finals loss to Aryna Sabalenka. Swiatek is 7-3, also with a tournament title. Hers came at WTA Seoul against Ekaterina Alexandrova. The interesting thing to note here is that Swiatek pushed two of her three losses into a third set. In contrast, Anisimova was beaten in straight sets both times, and you could also include her bad loss at Wimbledon as another example of her struggles against the top players on the tour.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Swiatek as the favorite. While it’s not quite 2-1, it’s getting there. 1.32 points separate them at their lowest and highest points. As I stated above, my biggest concern with Anisimova is her lack of results against top competition when the pressure is on. While Anisimova did better against a better opponent in her US Open Finals loss, she, ultimately, still lost the same way she lost to Swiatek, two sets to none. The French Open saw the same results. Sure, she pushed the first set to a tiebreak, but then collapsed in the second set. It was the same story in Australia when she lost to Emma Raducanu in the second round of the Australian Open.

That being said, Under 2.5 sets is a value bet for sure.

Rybakina – Keys: Time 15:00

H2H: 3-3

Elena Rybakina and Madison Keys’ rivalry will add another chapter to the story at the WTA Finals. Someone is going to take the lead in two different aspects of this rivalry. As of right now, the full rivalry is knotted up at 3-3, but they’re also tied up at 1 win apiece in 2025. Rybakina won a three-round match in the round of 16 at WTA Cincinnati, but Keys won a three-round match in the round of 16 at the Australian Open. Keys is struggling hard right now. She’s lost four matches in a row, and she’s 5-5 in her last ten matches. Rybakina is 8-2, with a tournament title in her last ten.

Best Bet to Make

Rybakina is a pretty sizable favorite for this type of match. She’s basically a 4-1 favorite. There’s a reason why people are down on Keys. As I stated, she’s 5-5 in her last ten matches, but that doesn’t tell the full story. Even her wins don’t stand out because she is ranked above the people she beat. The average ranking of the opponents she has beaten was no. 60, so not exactly impressive for a top ten player in the World. Adding to this, three of those opponents took her to a third set in those wins. One of Rybakina’s losses was a walkover injury, so she’s technically only lost one match in her last ten when she’s been able to play. Give me Rybakina in straight sets.

That being said, Rybakina winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.
