WTA Seoul Best Bets Including Iga Swiatek vs Barbora Krejcikova

The 2025 iteration of the WTA Seoul has been plagued by poor weather, resulting in delays and frustration. After being rained out yesterday, the quarterfinals are set to be played, and the field is loaded with competition. The top three seeds have all advanced to the quarterfinals, and the rest of the field is comprised of veterans who have strong track records against their opponents. Here are my best bets, please share your thoughts in the comment section.

WTA Seoul

Tauson– Joint: Time 05:00

H2H: 0-0

Clara Tauson and Maya Joint kick off our coverage. The Dane and the Aussie have only one previous match, which was a 2024 ITF in Canberra, Australia. Tauson won that quarterfinal match in straight sets, but Joint put up an admirable fight in the first set. Both women are 6-4 in their last ten matches entering this one. Joint is riding a two-match win streak, whereas Tauson snapped a two-match losing streak. Joint has two tournament victories in 2025, Tauson has one, but both women are having stand-out years in an overall sense.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Tauson as the favorite in this match. In most books, Joint is the underdog by about .75 points, and I think there is tremendous value to be had by taking Joint on a flier, but I’ll be taking Tauson. Tauson is doing slightly better on a hardcourt this year than Joint is, but the difference isn’t so great that I think it should be a major factor in your decision. Both women have notable wins this year, but I think Tauson has beaten the better competition lately. She has victories over Madison Keys and Iga Swiatek. Joint had her chances against bigger names like Amanda Anisimova and Ekaterina Alexandrova, but she came up pretty short. Joint is going to be a major factor in the future, but Tauson is ready now.

That being said, Tauson winning is a value bet for sure.

Lamens – Siniakova: Time 06:30

H2H: 1-0

Suzan Lamens vs Katerina Siniakova is probably the most under-the-radar match of the quarterfinals. Neither woman is in the top 25 or even the top 50, but Siniakova has been as high as No. 11, and she’s currently the world’s second-best player in doubles tennis. Lamens was in a bit of a rough patch recently, but she’s managed to win three of her last four matches to turn it around. Siniakova has been on a tear, going 8-2 in her last ten matches, with a tournament title from WTA Warsaw 2 also mixed in there.

Best Bet to Make

There’s a fairly decent reason that Siniakova is a strong favorite in this match. Many books have her as the favorite by as much as 1.25 or higher. I don’t usually use this, but the average is 2.64 to 1.48, and it’s pretty consistent. Siniakova is just playing so much better than Lamens at this point. Siniakova is 31-19 overall while Lamens is 29-22. If you’re going to bet Siniakova confidently, Bet365 is offering a fantastic value on Siniakova 2:0 at 2.2 vs taking her straight-up at 1.52 at the highest.

That being said, Siniakova winning is a value bet for sure.

Swiatek – Krejcikova: Time 05:00

H2H: 0-0

Iga Swiatek and Barbora Krejcikova have a robust history. They have met five times, with Swiatek winning three. The most recent meeting was at the 2024 WTA Masters Cup. They’ve also met in two finals, with Krejcikova winning both of them. Three of their five matches have gone three sets, and all three of those have had a tiebreak in at least one set, if not two. The point I’m trying to make here is that these two have a strong history of pushing each other to their limit.

Best Bet to Make

I think the linemakers for this one were smoking something. Iga is the favorite by 3.8 points at the highest. The average is 1.19 to 4.66, and I just don’t get it. I feel like the oddsmakers are penalizing her harshly for being injured, but she’s been consistently fantastic since returning, and she’s performed well in the majority of her tournament appearances. I’m not saying I think Krejcikova is going to beat Swiatek, though I am not going to be shocked in the slightest if it happens. I just feel like this is a fantastic match to cash in on. I think this is going to go over 2.5 sets, but the safest bet would be over 19.5 games at 1.99 on Pinnacle.

That being said, Over 19.5 games is a value bet for sure.
