French Open Best Bets Including Dayana Yastremska vs Luidmila Samsonova

The matches at the French Open have been delivering on all fronts. There’s plenty more scheduled for Roland-Garros, and LWOS is here to provide you with more best bets. Let me know in the comments if you agree with my decisions. Give me your thoughts on the matches, as well.

French Open

Yastremska – Samsonova: Time 11:00

H2H: 0-0

Dayana Yastremska and Liudmila Samsonova will have more on the line than advancing in the French Open when they meet for the first time in their careers. Whether or not the two ladies would prefer it, political tensions and the War in Ukraine make it all but impossible for the Russian and the Ukrainian to play just a simple match against each other. Politics aside, Samsonova enters the match in better form. She’s 7-3 in her last ten matches while Yastremska is 5-5. In fact, Samsonova is coming off a loss to Elena Rybakina in her last tournament before the French Open.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Samsonova as a small favorite, and I agree. Samsonova is playing incredibly well right now, and even her loss to Rybakina went three sets. Yastremska has been difficult to put away when she does play, however. Of her five losses, three went three sets, including a three-set war with Coco Gauff in Madrid. That said, all three of Samsonova’s losses went three sets, as well. If you’re sure Samsonova will take care of her in two sets, then a correct score bet is the way to go, otherwise, it’s wise to take Samsonova straight up.

That being said, Samsonova winning is a value bet for sure.

Parks – Jacquemot: Time 16:30

H2H: 0-0

Alycia Parks is not having a 2025 to remember. The 24-year-old has not figured into the meat of a tournament since her semifinal appearance to start the year in Auckland. She hasn’t made it past the second round of a tournament since. Else Jacquemot is having a solid year, by contrast. Jacquemot managed to reach the quarterfinals in Strasbourg, Paris, and in Saint-Melo, so she’s done solidly since the clay court part of the year took over.

Best Bet to Make

Elsa Jacquemot is the favorite in this match for a reason. Not only is Parks struggling on clay, but Jacquemot seems to be having her best success on the surface. Given the fact that betting on Jacquemot straight is only going for 1.57, you’re better off taking her two sets to none. At least two outlets are offering 2.38 on a correct score of two bets to none, and it seems likely that Jacquemot should have little trouble putting the struggling Parks away early.

That being said,  Jacquemot winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

Kalinina – Boisson: Time 11:00

H2H: 2-0

Anhelina Kalinina and Lois Boisson have met twice before, and both times were victories on clay for Kalinina. That was 2021, and much has changed since then. Kalinina is in a massive rut right now and is struggling hard to find wins. Boisson is on a roll right now, coming off a tournament victory at the ITF level. Much of that has to do with the fact that she only returned from injury in February, but she only had one win at the WTA level before beating Mertens.

Best Bet to Make

As well as Boisson is playing right now, Kalinina wins way more than she loses on clay. The reason the bookmakers pretty much see this match as a draw is that there isn’t a lot to be confident in for either lady. Kalinina has three wins in her last ten matches, but Boisson hasn’t been playing at this level all year. When you’re faced with situations like this, always run with the person in better form. More often than not, they’re going to be able to overcome since because they’re in a better space mentally. At 1.91, Boisson is going to make you money and let you bet on the favorite.

That being said, Boisson winning is a value bet for sure.
