ATP Rome Day 7 Predictions
Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fils
Head-to-Head: Zverev 3-2 Fils
Alexander Zverev leads Arthur Fils 3–2 in their head-to-head, though Fils won their most recent meeting in Miami. Zverev has looked sharp in Rome, dropping just six games in his first two matches. Fils impressed with a gritty win over Tsitsipas, showing his growing clay-court credentials. Still, Zverev’s form and experience on this surface give him the edge.
Prediction: Zverev in 3
Lorenzo Musetti vs Daniil Medvedev
Head-to-Head: Medvedev 2-0 Musetti
Lorenzo Musetti will look to reverse a 0–2 head-to-head deficit against Daniil Medvedev when they meet in Rome, this time on his favored clay. While both of their previous matches came on hard courts, Musetti’s all-court creativity and comfort on clay could pose problems for the Russian. Medvedev, a former champion, has made strides on the surface but remains less natural on it. With ATP Rome home support and the right rhythm, Musetti could push Medvedev, but the Russian remains the favorite.
Prediction: Medvedev in 3
Jack Draper vs Corentin Moutet
Head-to-Head: first meeting
Jack Draper comes into his first meeting with Corentin Moutet in strong form, reaching the Madrid final and cruising through his early rounds in Rome. Moutet, however, is riding high after a dramatic upset over Holger Rune in one of the longest matches in tournament history. While the Frenchman’s flair and unpredictability make him dangerous, Draper’s consistency and recent results on clay give him the edge.
Prediction: Draper in 2
Carlos Alcaraz vs Karen Khachanov
Head-to-Head: Alcaraz 4-0 Khachanov
Carlos Alcaraz holds a 4–0 head-to-head edge over Karen Khachanov and remains the clear favorite heading into their Rome Masters clash. The Spaniard has been sharp on clay this season, winning Monte Carlo and reaching the Barcelona final. Khachanov has battled through his early rounds but has struggled against top-tier opponents on this surface. Alcaraz’s all-court game and dominance in their previous meetings should carry him through.
Prediction: Alcaraz in 2
