WTA Madrid Open Best Bets Including Coco Gauff vs Mirra Andreeva

The WTA Madrid Open has reached the quarterfinals, and our featured match is Coco Gauff vs Mirra Andreeva. Here are my best bets for three of the top matches on the card. Do you think I picked well? If I’ve made you money, tell me in the comments.

WTA Madrid Open

Andreeva – Gauff: Time 15:00

H2H: 0-2

Mirra Andreeva and Coco Gauff have met twice before, and Gauff won both. While the first match had a competitive first set, the four following sets have all been Gauff. Both of their previous matches have taken place at a Major, so maybe the step down in competition will see Andreeva take the fight back to Gauff. Gauff enters the match having won seven of her previous ten matches, Andreeva has won eight of her previous ten, including a tournament victory at Indian Wells. This is Gauff’s first quarterfinal since Stuttgart.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Andreeva as the favorite, and it’s largely based on form. While Coco Gauff is 17-6 in 2025, Andreeva is a remarkable 24-5 overall. While Andreeva has previously made the quarterfinals at Madrid, Gauff had never previously made it past the Round of 16. Gauff is playing well enough, but Andreeva is just too good and should easily make it to the semifinals.

That being said, Andreeva winning is a value bet for sure.

Uchijima – Svitolina: Time 16:30

H2H: 0-1

Moyuka Uchijima and Elina Svitolina are set for their second career match. Svitolina won their only previous meeting, also on clay, at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Uchijima is 17-12 in 2025, Svitolina is 21-6. While Uchijima is 8-2 in her previous ten matches, Svitolina is 10-0, including a tournament victory in Rouen. At this point, Uchijima has already upset Pegula and Alexandrova, would anyone be surprised if she added Svitolina to that list?

Best Bet to Make

The books have Svitolina as a heavy favorite, and I agree. It doesn’t make any sense to bet Svitolina straight, there’s not enough there to make it worth your while. That said, the enterprising bettor can essentially bet the same thing differently at odds that make much more sense. Svitolina winning 2:0 is available a much more lucrative odds on sites like Bet365.

That being said,  Svitolina winning 2:0 is a value bet for sure.

SabalenkaKostyuk: Time 20:00

H2H: 2-0

Aryna Sabalenka and Marta Kostyuk met twice before, with Sabalenka winning both. The last victory came at the 2023 French Open. Sabalenka has shown zero signs of dropping her world No. 1 ranking in 2025. She is 29-5 overall, with tournament victories in Miami, Indian Wells, the Australian Open, and Brisbane. Kostyuk hasn’t won a singles tournament since 2023. Sabalenka won this very tournament in 2023.

Best Bet to Make

The books have Sabalenka as a heavy favorite, and I absolutely agree. When you have four tournament victories and it’s not even the halfway point of the year, you’re going to get the benefit of the doubt in most of your matches, especially as the world’s No. 1 player. Kostyuk played extremely well against Potapova, stretching her from baseline to baseline. Kostyuk has the potential to win this match, but Sabalenka should be able to win this in under 20 games.

That being said, Sabalenka winning in under 20 games is a value bet for sure.
