WTA Miami Quarterfinals Best Bets Including Iga Swiatek vs Alexandra Eala

Yesterday’s bets were full of risk. One paid off in a significant way, and the other flopped. Today’s opportunities are also risky, but we’ve already seen that big risks can pay off. Here are our best bets. Do you think we made the right calls? Let us know in the comments.

WTA Miami Round of 16

Swiatek – Eala: Time 16:00

H2H: 0-0

Iga Swiatek vs Alexandra Eala has the most intrigue of all the quarterfinal matches. Not only has Eala far surpassed any expectations of her at Miami, but she’s sure to change her ranking from no. 140 to something more befitting of her talent, as she’s guaranteed at least 215 points in the rankings. Should she manage to beat Swiatek tomorrow, she’s only going to rise even higher in the rankings. Swiatek is going to be an extremely tall order for Eala, but she’s shown enough on hard surfaces for me to believe she can be competitive.

Best Bet to Make

Bookmakers have Swiatek as an absurd favorite and I absolutely agree. That said, you can make some ridiculous cash on Eala if you have the bollocks to do so. Eala is such an underdog that a single $100 bet could make you a thousandaire. At 12.27 odds, a $100 bet would pay out $1,127. This is one of those bets you’re going to have be comfortable losing if you decide to place it, but the rewards may simply be too good not to place a throwaway with the books.

That being said, Eala winning is a value bet for sure.

Raducanu – Pegula: Time 16:00

H2H: 1-1

Emma Raducanu vs Jessica Pegula is sure to be one of the better quarterfinal matches of the day. While Raducanu seems to finally be gaining some sense of confidence following a rough 2025, Pegula is playing some of her best tennis headed into this match and is also the reigning Miami champion, so she knows how to win on this court. Unfortunately for Raducanu, she’s 7-5 on hard surfaces while Pegula is 18-5 in 2025. The last time the two faced, Raducanu won but on grass. The previous time they squared off on hard court went to Pegula.

Best Bet to Make

If you think an upset is in the cards, then there’s money to be made on Raducanu. At 2.75, a $100 bet would pay out $275 so there’s money to be made if you think Raducanu can win. The books have Pegula as a favorite and I agree. She’s not only better on harder surfaces, but she’s had a much better 2025 and only has one loss in her last ten matches.
That being said, Raducanu winning is a value bet for sure.

Raducanu – Pegula: Time 16:00

H2H: 1-1

To spice things up a bit, I began looking at prop bets within this matchup, and while there are tempting bets, over 2.5 sets seems the juiciest given how both ladies are playing at the moment. Raducanu hadn’t exactly been lighting it up prior to Miami, but she’s suddenly come alive at Miami and it shows. While Pegula hasn’t shown many weaknesses, Raducanu has been able to stretch her past two sets in the past and the confidence she’s playing with right now suggests it could happen again.

Best Bet to Make

Given the fact that the only money you can really make on this match comes from prop bets or picking the upset, I tracked down the prop bet that I felt had the best chance of paying out. For me, that was this entire match going over 2.5 sets. Give the confidence with which Raducanu is playing, it seems fairly likely that she’s going to be able to push this match into three sets, possibly even winning the first before Pegula settles down and resumes her normal play. Even if Raducanu pulls the upset, it’s still likely to occur within three sets.

That being said, Over 2.5 sets is a value bet for sure.
