The bookies have Kudermetova winning this match and I don’t agree. Kudermetova isn’t on her best run right now and while Wang may have a less impressive record in 2025, her current run of form is taking her deeper in tournaments than Kudermetova. She also beat her soundly here two years ago, has a higher winning percentage in service games, and has converted a higher percentage of break points with 47.7% to 45.3% respectively.
That being said, Wang winning is a value bet for sure.

This is the first-ever meetup between Varvara Gracheva and Alycia Parks, but it couldn’t come at a worse time for Gracheva. Not only is she 4-6 in her last ten matches, she’s also 4-5 on hard courts in 2025. Conversely, Parks is absolutely on fire. She’s 7-3 in her last ten ten and 10-5 on hard courts in 2025. Gracheva loves to play defensive tennis and Parks is a big fan of the power game. The form of Parks combined with the harder playing surface makes Parks’ aggressive nature the favored playing style here and also the match favorite.

The bookers have Parks being a solid favorite and I definitely agree. Parks seems eager to prove that she can perform at a higher level and most of the elements seem to favor her. She’s also playing some pretty consistent tennis and I value consistency over just about anything.
