He was stopped in the quarterfinals against Ruud. It is his first appearance in Doha.

He is the defending champion in Doha. Last season, Khachanov won the title, winning against Mensik in the final.
Daniil Medvedev has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Marseille, Medvedev reached the semifinals, losing against Medjedovic in straight sets. It has been a disappointing season so far for a Russian. Earlier this season, Tien upset Medvedev in the second round of the Australian Open. It is his second appearance in Doha. In his debut campaign, 2023, Medvedev won the title, winning against Murray in the final.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Medvedev is the slight favorite in this matchup, but we disagree. Both players are out of form. However, Khachanov is Doha’s defending champion, and we expect him to put up a big fight against Medvedev tomorrow. We expect a tight match that could go either way.
