ATP 500 Dallas 1/16-Finals
Kecmanovic – Shapovalov: 06.02.2025 03:30 CEST
H2H: 0-6
Miomir Kecmanovic has won three of his last five matches. Last week, Miomir played for Serbia against Denmark in the Davis Cup. In his last match, Miomir lost against Rune in straight sets. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, he reached the third round, losing against Rune in five tight sets. It is his third appearance in Dallas. His best result happened in 2020 when he reached the semifinals. Around this time last year, Miomir played in Delray Beach, losing in the opening round against Kypson in straight sets.
Denis Shapovalov has lost three of his last five matches. The last match he played was at the Australian Open, where he lost against Musetti in the second round. So far this season, Denis has not had any consecutive wins. The young Canadian has struggled with his form for the last few seasons. He hopes for solid results in the next couple of weeks to return to the top 50. It is his second appearance in Dallas. Denis lost in the opening round against Wu in his debut campaign in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Denis is the slight favorite in this matchup, and we agree. They have played six times against each other, and Denis has won every time. Denis is a better indoor hard-court player, and we expect him to continue his winning streak against Kecmanovic.
That being said, Shapovalov winning is a value bet.

ATP 500 Dallas 1/8-Finals
Paul – Quinn: 06.02.2025 17:00 CEST
H2H: 1-0
Tommy Paul has won four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Melbourne, Paul reached the quarterfinals. He lost against Zverev in four sets, as we had predicted. At the beginning of the season, Tommy played in Adelaide, losing against Auger-Aliassime in the semifinals. In the opening round, Tommy defeated Brooksby in three tight sets yesterday. After losing the first set 6-7, Tommy started playing better and turned the match around. Last year, he won the title in Dallas, winning against Giron in three tight sets. It is his third appearance here.
Ethan Quinn has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Cleveland, Quinn played in the Challenger Tournament, losing in the first round. This week in Dallas, Ethan successfully qualified for the main draw tournament. He won both qualifying matches in straight sets. Yesterday, Ethan had a favorable draw in the opening round, winning against Trevor Svajda in straight sets. He offered and saved two breakpoints. Last year in Dallas, Quinn lost against Hijikata in the opening round.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Tommy is the favorite in this matchup, and we agree. Quinn is a Challenger Tour-level player, and he has had a favorable draw so far in Dallas. He has no weapons for Paul’s game. We expect Tommy to dominate in this match and win easily.
That being said, Paul winning in straight sets is a value bet.
