ATP Brisbane Final Prediction: Reilly Opelka vs Jiri Lehecka

The 2025 ATP Brisbane 250 final is set, with American Reilly Opelka taking on 23-year-old Czech Jiri Lehecka in an exciting clash of styles. Opelka’s powerful serves will test Lehecka’s aggressive game.

After two years of barely playing, Opelka is aiming for a fifth ATP title, while Lehecka, having an amazing week that includes reaching the doubles final, seeks his second. Who will claim the title and succeed last year’s champion, Grigor Dimitrov?

ATP Brisbane Final Prediction

Reilly Opelka Vs Jiri Lehecka

Head-to-Head: First meeting

This match is tough to call, given how both players have arrived at this stage. Lehecka has been in great form, easily beating Rune and Jarry, overcoming Nishioka and advancing past Dimitrov in the semifinals after the defending champion retired. However, Lehecka was already up a set. He already lifted the trophy in Adelaide last year, and he clearly enjoys playing in Australia.

But Opelka, slightly out of nowhere after barely playing the last two seasons, has been sensational, the highlight being defeating the best returner in history, Novak Djokovic. He’s been stellar on serve all week, racking up 62 aces while only 10 double faults. He is yet to drop a set, and he is moving great considering how tall he is.

It will be extremely hard for Lehecka to win points on return consistently. However, injury concerns resurfaced for Reilly during his match against Mpethsi Perricard, where he required medical attention for his wrist. As a result, the slight edge goes to the Czech youngster, who is also likely to have the upper hand in most rallies.

Prediction: Lehecka in 3
