Martinez – Djere: 15.10.2024 17:30 CEST
H2H: 0-2
Pablo Martinez has won five straight matches. The Spaniard decided to play in Valencia last week on clay. It was the right decision, since Pablo won the challenger title. Martinez had his biggest results on the slower clay courts. He has already won a couple of challenger titles, which cemented his top 50 status. So far in the Asian swing, Pablo has played four matches, with a losing 1-3 record. Last year around this time, Pablo played in Brest, where he won the challenger tournament under similar conditions.
Laslo Djere has won four of his last five matches. The Serbian had some fitness issues recently, resulting in him not being able to play in a couple of tournaments. Here in Stockholm, Laslo successfully qualified for the main-draw tournament. In the first qualifying round, Djere defeated Andreev in three sets. After that, in the final qualifying round, Laslo won comfortably against Medjedovic in straight sets. Last year in Stockholm, Laslo reached the semifinals, where he lost against Monfils in straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Djere is the slight favorite in this matchup, and we agree with that. Martinez is coming into this matchup completely unprepared for these conditions. On the other hand, Laslo has already won two matches here in Stockholm and played solid tennis. We believe that Djere will dominate in this match, and win easily.
That being said, Djere winning is a value bet.

Ymer – Jarry: 15.10.2024 18:00 CEST
H2H: 0-1
Elias Ymer has won three of his last five matches. Last week in Roanne, Ymer successfully qualified for the main-draw tournament. In the opening main-draw round, Elias lost against Kym in straight sets. Here in Stockholm, Ymer was granted a wild card. So far this season, Elias has not had any remarkable results, which led to him being outside the top 250. This is a solid chance for Elias, who is looking to get back into the top 200. Last year in Stockholm, Ymer retired mid-match against Kecmanovic in the quarterfinals.
Nicolas Jarry has lost four of his last five matches. Two weeks ago in Shanghai, Nico lost his opening match against Wu in straight sets. It was a terrible performance from Jarry. So far in the Asian swing, Jarry has played four matches, with a losing 1-3 record. Last year around this time, Jarry played in Basel, where he lost his second round match against Humbert in tight straight sets.
Best Bet to Make
According to the bookies, Jarry is the slight favorite in this matchup. Both players are out of form. However, Jarry competed at the highest level throughout the whole season. On the other hand, Ymer spent most of the season playing at the challenger tour level, where he has not had any success.
That being said, Jarry winning is a value bet.
Value bet/ the best odds: Nicolas Jarry winning @1.67 @bet365
